Cascading Pleated Fancy Fold Card featuring the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite
If you’re looking for a card that’s both meaningful and visually striking, this is the project for you. Today I’m sharing a beautifully layered fancy fold card that uses the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite—one of my absolute favourites from the Stampin’ Up! 2025-26 Annual Catalogue. This is a technique project featuring a Cascading Pleated Fancy Fold Card and comes with a video tutorial and measurements.
Inspired by the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, this suite is more than just pretty paper. Kintsugi teaches us that beauty can be found in imperfection—something I think every handmade cardmaker can relate to. And what better way to honour that sentiment than with a card that unfolds with layered detail?
Whether you’re crafting for a special occasion or simply want to try a new technique, this card is sure to impress. Even better, it’s easier than it looks, and I’ve included full measurements and cutting instructions to help you recreate it with ease.

Thank you so much for the lovely feedback. I love this card cause you can use most patterned paper from your stash but I have to say, the Kintsugi Inspirations DSP is pretty special.
