I am loving the In the Moment Stamp Set

Every time a new catalogue is released, I fall in love with one stamp set in particular and want to create lots of different projects using that set – creativity abounds……. For the 2022 Mini Catalogue (Jan-June), the In the Moment Stamp Set is that stamp set. I find this stamp set so versatile. And slimline cards are so hot at the moment, made all the more easier with the new Slimline Envelopes.

For this project, I used a paper piecing technique. The background was created using the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes.

The background of this card has been created with an ombre effect using Night of Navy, Magenta Madness (Stampin’ Up! have the best names for their colours!) and Blushing Bride.

I used Abstract Beauty 4″ X 6″ (10.2 X 15.2 Cm) Specialty Designer Series Paper for the paper piecing technique (shirt and pants) and the sentiment for the featured card comes from the Slim Sayings Cling Stamp Set.

Slimline Card Details:

7-1/2″ x 8-1/4″ (19.5 x 20.9 cm) Night of Navy card base;

7-7/8″ x 3-1/4″ (20 x 8.2cm) Magenta Madness;

Two 3-1/8″ x 7-5/8″ (7.9 x 14cm) Basic White cardstock (insert and front layer) plus scrap cardstock for sentiment;

The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy and popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. The image from the In the Moment Stamp Set is stamped on the Basic White and the Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper in Memento Black Ink.

Additional projects:

For this project, I used the Basic Patterns Layering Masks from the Stampin’ Up! 2022 Annual Catalogue. Used a similar ombre technique but this time in Night of Navy, Magenta Madness, Crushed Curry and Blushing Bride. The sentiment is from the featured stamp set. I decorated a coordinated envelope using the same Ombre technique.
