Santa’s Sleigh Z Fold Card for Christmas
This is another project from my Christmas Extravaganza Creative Class. It is a CASE from Kelly Kent. Sorry that this card was not posted in time for Christmas but there was a glitch in the scheduling of the post. The Santa’s Sleigh is on the carry-over list and will be available in 2017.
Details of how to recreate this Z Fold card.
Cherry Cobbler base: 11” x 4-1/8” (or 4-1/4 for US sizing but must adjust the top layer), scored at 2-3/4” and 5-1/2”
Gold Fleck Specialty Paper from Pop of Pink layer: 4” x 2-1/2”; 4” x 2-1/2”; 4” x 5-1/4”.
Gold Fleck Specialty Paper from Pop of Pink (if using a thinner paper, it will need backing with cardstock) pop-up layer: 11” x 1-1/2”, scored at 2-3/4” and 5-1/2”. Once it was scored, I then trimmed approx. 1/8” off both ends leaving the piece approx. 10-3/4” x 1-1/2”. Only adhere the far right and far left 2-1/2” of this strip to the card, making sure that the 2-1/2 score line is on the right of your project (as it faces you).
The CHRISTMAS WISHES sentiment came from the Santa’s Sleigh bundle but I used a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to colour only the words I required ‘CHRISTMAS WISHES’.
I coloured the reindeer’s hooves with the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.
The Emerald Envy wreath was die cut with the Framelits® from the Santa’s Sleigh bundle and the berries were coloured with a Real Red Marker.
I used a retired Real Red Candy Dot for Rudolph’s nose. I accidently stuck two of these on a reindeer, but of course, there is only one Rudolph.
The Sleigh, the tree in the sleigh, all the reindeers are adhered with dimensionals.
