Why is it so hard to create masculine layouts – or is it?
I haven’t created too many masculine scrapbooking layouts and I am not sure why. They are easy enough to create – remove the bling and tizz and use earthy colours and you are there. They are so easy to create that I have featured a masculine layout for next month’s (March 2019) kit. See all the details below.
Details of the layout:
The 12 ” x 12″ Whisper White base has been stamped randomly in Smoky Slate using the Buffalo Check Stamp Set (background). The edges were sponged in Smoky Slate using a Sponge Dauber.
Classic Garage 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) was used for the square, circles and strips (in increments of 2″). The circles were punched from the DSP using 1-3/4″ and 1-3/8″ circle punches. The Layering Circle Framelits would work just as well.
The plain gears were
The LOVE title was die cut using the Large Letter Framelit Dies from 2″ x 3″ rectangles in Tranquil Tide, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry – these colours coordinate perfectly with the DSP.
The word LOVE is from the Well Wishes Stamp Set and the You’re a Classic from the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set – both stamped in Basic Gray.
