All the Good Things
I am not really sure why I love the All the Good Things stamp set, but I do. When the Big Brown Box (BBB) arrived with my first order from the 2018 Annual Catalogue, this was the first stamp set I pulled out and started to play with. And there were quite a few choices to pick from. It just resonates with me. I like the Asian influence but also have all these ideas running around my head for different projects. Those fish are super cute – are they koi? And that sentiment is just gorgeous for so many reasons.
Tips and Tricks for the All the Good Things Kindness Card:
Time: 1/2 hr – suitable for beginners to advanced stampers
Card base: Basic Black A4 cardstock 8-1/4″ x 4-1/8″ (21 cm x 14 cm);
Whisper White Layer: 4″ x 5-3/8″ (10 cm x 13.6 cm);
This layer was die cut using the largest circle die from the Layering Circle Framelits Dies collection (see photo). The bonsai tree image from the All the Good Things Stamp Set was stamped in Memento Black Ink on the right-hand side of the card.
Using the Whisper White die cut layer as a template, I drew a circle lightly in pencil onto the Basic Black cardstock to make sure that I stamped the fish images accurately. I used the smaller fish image from the All the Good Things Stamp Set. I rubbed the embossing buddy over the cardstock to reduce stray white flecks from the embossing powder. The fish were stamped randomly in Versamark Ink and then heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.
The Whisper White Layer was adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
