Lovely Floral Dynamic Embossing Folder perfect for the Global Stampers May theme
This is my project for the Global Stampers May Blog Hop. I am joined by other demonstrators from around the world so don’t forget to check out their projects as well. The links are below. The project had to be feminine and I think this card certainly fits the bill. How gorgeous is the Lovely Floral Dynamic Embossing Folder? It is just one of the products featured in the Share What you Love Limited Time Bundles. This floral embossed image, coloured with the soft pinks and greens, is the epitome of feminine.
I coloured the embossed image with Stampin’ Write Markers (Stampin’ Blends would have worked as well). I did not use the stained glass technique and colour the back of the embossed image, but rather the front. This is an easy project. Now I am calling this fold a gatefold easel card but I just made that name up. I am sure someone else somewhere has created a similar card but this was one of those cards which designed itself.
This type of embossing folder is called dynamic because it leaves a deeper impression than normal embossing folders. With some cardstocks, you get a better impression by lightly spritzing the paper prior to embossing.
