Facebook Live
By now you may have guessed that I love sharing what I do. I had vowed at the start of 2017 I would produce more process videos to visually show you how you can become a more accomplished papercrafter. But I kept getting bogged down trying to make my videos ‘perfect’. It would sometimes take me over a day to plan, record, edit and publish a video, time I just couldn’t find.
But I now have the solution!
On Tuesday nights at 7 pm Brisbane time, I will be doing a Facebook Live edition of Stampin’ in the Raw. Now there has been a little bit of confusion and mischief, might I say, that I was going to ditch my clothes for this segment. But no, it is about the video being in the raw, uncut, unedited and unscripted. This makes it a much easier product to create. And you will get to see me speaking from the heart about what I love. Last night was probably the first time you have actually seen me ‘live’. Most of my previous videos have been of ‘the talking hands’ variety.
My first session of Stampin’ in the Raw was a Super Sneak Peek of the Stampin’ Up! 2018 Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration, including stamp sets and embellishments.
In case you missed it, I have posted the YouTube edition here.
Facebook Live allows you to interact with me whilst I am broadcasting – to ask questions, let me know what you like by hitting the like button and to see what I am doing. This is not possible on the YouTube edition.
Next Week
Next week’s session will about how to make sure all your card layers are straight and even. You will be able to see how I do this in my cardmaking. I expect that these videos will be relatively short. If you are unable to tune in at 7 pm on a Tuesday night, you can always check it out later on Facebook as I will still post it (check out videos). I will also be posting the content on my YouTube channel within a couple of days. Subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss out.
Want to me to be your demonstrator?
Contact me with your details, if you would like me to be your demonstrator and I will send you a FREE Occasions catalogue if you live in Australia. Check out my blog and my Facebook page to stay up to date with all the news.
I hope you are looking forward to Tuesday nights as much as I am.
Happy crafting
