At Home with You Bundle by Stampin’ Up! for the Global Stampers challenge
Hi everyone! It is that time of the month when Global Stampers get together to create projects from around the world to inspire you. The challenge for this month was ‘anything goes’ from the new catalogue. I will post the other global challenge entries in the next couple of days. I enjoyed there were so many fabulous products from the new 2017-18 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue to choose from. At the moment, it is a little bit like my ‘cup runneth over’ – so many new products that I want to play with and so little time. But I know that as a demonstrator I am very very lucky. But for my first project from the new catalogue, I chose to feature the At Home with You Bundle by Stampin’ Up! (stamp set and coordinating dies).
Playing with this bundle was so much fun and I must admit I did get a little ‘carried away’. I couldn’t stop playing with the projects and adding a little bit more here and there. I used this card as an invitation to a special stampin event. Working on creating a special card for you, I wanted it to be one that would inspire you.
What is special about the At Home with You Bundle by Stampin’ Up!
As you will see by the YouTube video, this bundle is very easy to use and there are so many different combinations. The’ At Home with You’ bundle by Stampin’ Up! will be a favourite at Christmas, Halloween (and I will be in the United States for Halloween this year, so excited) and throughout the seasons.
The ‘At Home with You’ bundle by Stampin’ Up! also coordinates with lots of other products, both new and existing. For this project, I used a die cut (chair) from the Colorful Seasons bundle and the pussycat from Sitting Here Stamp Set. The new Boxwood Wreath embellishments in the new catalogue will work perfectly with this set. I love how the door opens and you can stamp your message inside. For the card I created, this was the ‘inside’ of the card.

Tips and Tricks on how to make this card
Time to complete:1-1/2 hours; suitable for the experienced stamper but able to be completed by a beginner.
Card base is standard (AU) 5-1/2″ x 4-1/8″ Night of Navy C/S
5-1/8″ x 4″ Smoky Slate C/S, embossed using Brick Wall Textured Embossing Folder. I roughly sponged (but used a light touch) the embossed cardstock with Crumb Cake and Night of Navy to add texture to the ‘brick wall’.
2″ x 3-3/4″ Whisper White C/S (piece behind the door). I stamped the sentiment onto this piece prior to attaching to the back of the door.
The Door Die Cut is cut from a piece of Shimmer White C/S (great for watercolouring) 2-1/2″ x 4-1/8″. The door frame is watercoloured in Smoky Slate and the door is watercoloured in Night of Navy. I did not spend a lot of time with door as I liked the ‘rustic weathered look’ created by the uneven colouring. The door was adhered using Multipurpose Liquid glue (not dimensioned). The die for the door leaves a crease to make it easy to ‘open’ the door.
Additional information:

Chair (Seasonal Layers Thinlits) is die cut from scrap piece of Whisper White C/S and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cat (from Sitting Here Stamp Set) stamped in Smoky Slate on scrap piece of Crumb Cake C/S and fussy cut. Adhered with dimensionals. The cat could be replaced by the dog image from the same stamp set.
