How to find your way around the new catalogue
A couple of days ago I introduced you to the new 2017-18 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. You probably guessed that I love it and the feedback from my customers already has all been overwhelmingly positive as well. Today I am going reveal my favourite Stampin’ Up! products.
Before I do so I am going to give you some facts about the new catalogue. Did you know that the new catalogue has 233 pages of just under 900 products, with approximately 350 of them being ‘brand spanking new’? Obviously, I have no life if I know this…… It can all be a little overwhelming. But I am here to help you make some sense of it all.
Once you know how it is easy
Stampin’ Up! do try to make it easy for you to find what you are looking for. There are two main indices – page 1 and page 232 (accessories index). The index on page 1 is colour coded and this carried all the way throughout the book (check out the colour-coded boxes on each of the product pages). But there are a number of other helpful inclusions – the one that I use the most is at the bottom left of page 7 – suites. This is where you find some of the most popular products in the catalogue. Suites take the guesswork out of matching paper, ink, dies, embellishments and more and isn’t this what we all want. The possibilities are endless. To find out more about the Product Suites, click here.
The Stamp Set Index on page 224 is the index I use the most.
Now enough about indices. Let’s move onto my top picks.
My Favourite Stampin’ Up! Products 1-3
In the previous post, I revealed two of my favourite products – the new In-Colors and the Love Today Planner Kit. The list below is in addition to these two products.
Delightful Daisy Suite page 126-127:
This suite includes a stamp set, punch, ribbon, Faceted Gems and Designer Series Paper. It has already outsold any other product in the new catalogue. Create a floral arrangement using the stamp set and coordinating punch (see the photo).
Eastern Gold Foil Vinyl Stickers page 19 and page 196
These stickers are part of the Eastern Palace Suite and are like no other stickers I have ever used. They are on thick vinyl, forty stickers in all. They work well on their own or coordinating with the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set or the Eastern Medallions Thinlits. I have nearly finished my first pack of these. These stickers were featured in my Eastern Palace mini album.
Birthday Memories Suite page 68-69
This was the first product I used from the new catalogue. Check out my sampler. The bundle (10% off) includes the stamp set, Designer Series Paper pack and the coordinating Framelits. The Framelits even cut out the images on the patterned paper – how easy does that make it.
My Favourite Stampin’ Up! Products 4-5
Embossing Paste and Pattern Party Decorative Masks page 201
I love texture paste and this new product will bring a different dimension to all your papercrafting. The Embossing Paste and Pattern Party Decorative Masks combined help you create textured backgrounds for scrapbook pages, cards and 3-D projects. Stampin’ Reinkers, spritzers and even sponges can be used to recolour the paste or you can it leave au natural. If you are reading this in an email, click here to view the short YouTube video.
Soft Sayings All Inclusive Card Kit page 10-11)
This is probably my favourite card ever. I have completed my kit of 20 cards already and I love the finished cards. I was able to change up the sentiments to suit what I wanted. If you are reading this in an email, click here to view the short YouTube video.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my favourite Stampin’ Up! products. Let me know which are your favourites.
