Charity Card Workshop proudly supporting the World’s Greatest Shave
This year on Saturday, 11 March 2017 (10am-4pm) the Crafty Paper Bees (my team of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators) will be proudly supporting the Leukaemia Foundation’s Shave for a Cure – World’s Greatest Shave (Help Beat Blood Cancers). This is a cause very close to my heart. We will be sponsoring a friend of mine, Madeline Wright, who will be shaving her head to raise money. All proceeds from the day will be donated directly to the Leukaemia Foundation. The venue will be the Salisbury Community Sports Club, 37 Ainsworth Street, Salisbury.
World’s Greatest Shave
Blood cancer is the third most common cause of cancer death in Australia, tragically claiming more lives than breast cancer or melanoma. Every day another 35 people will be diagnosed. The money raised will provide emotional and practical support to families facing blood cancer. It will also fund vital research that will mean more people survive, whilst improving their quality of life.
Your support is desperately needed to make this event a success. Everyone is welcome (bring along a friend or two or three). This event is suitable for both the experienced and novice stamper. Whilst the day is supporting a worthwhile cause, that doesn’t mean that we can’t have fun – lots of fun, loads of prizes, product playground and demonstrations. Raffle tickets will be available to purchase on the day – the prize is of course, awesome Stampin’ Up! products. Please share this post on social media and with all your crafty friends.
The price ($70) includes entry to the event, morning tea, lucky door prizes, your choice of two kits (Oh Happy Day Card Kit or the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit). Each kit contains a stamp set, die-cut pieces, stickers, Classic Stampin’ Spot/s (mini ink pad), embellishments, gift box and so much more. Lunch is available for purchase at a reasonable price or you can BYO (menu and prices have changed slightly since our last event).

This is our fifth fundraiser and we have raised over $5000 for worthy causes. Each member of the Crafty Paper Bees donate their commission from sales for the event and orders placed on the day.
