Sunshine Wishes are exactly that!
It is that time of the month when I needed a swap for my team meeting. And I think lately that I have been going through a little change in my style change. This card basically only has five elements – the sentiment which could be swapped out for whatever you wish, the diecut from the new Sunshine Wishes, the small 1″ x 5-1/2″ strip of the Fruit Stand DSP, the paper doily and the card base which has been embossed using the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This is what I would call a simple card.
The Petal Burst Embossing Folder is one of the smaller folders (11.4 x 15.7 cm). To make the embossing easier, I scored the Watermelon Wonder card base (8-1/4″ x 5-1/2″) and then opened the card base out on the Big Shot Platform (Tab 1). I placed one half of the cardstock into the embossing folder, carefully lining up the score line with the pattern on the embossing folder before placing it crossways onto the platform.
Tip: It is important to make sure that no part of the embossing folder or cardstock is overhanging at the sides.
The diecut ‘stem was trimmed to fit behind the DSP. The diecut (Peekaboo Peach) was adhered using the Fine Tip Glue Pen. The sentiment was adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I will be posting the swaps I received from the other members of the Crafty Paper Bees in the following post. And one of the swaps I received featured the Fairy Celebration stamp set, which is one of my favourites from the new catalogue. I can’t wait to share.
