Will Baby Bear Stamp be the most popular stamp set this year?
I have had a love affair with Baby Bear Stamp Set from the very start. As I have ordered stamps and they have arrived very few have challenged this stamp set in popularity. I love the sentiment and they are easy to strip because of the size of the font. It is a three step stamp (meaning – to create this image you use three different stamps in different colour tones to create the amazing details contained in this photo realism stamp). And the detail on the bow just finishes it off perfectly.
So how did I create this Baby Bear Thank You card?
I only used two step stamping leaving out what would usually be the darker detailed stamped image as I wanted the bears to be a little shabby. I stamped the first layer in Crumb Cake and the second layer in Soft Suede. Now interestingly, I checked this stamp set out on my online shop and read that Baby Bear is a two step stamp set and you pick which two of the three layers you wish to use. Combine individual stamps to build the final image in the colors you want. This stamp set is easy to line up as set is Photopolymer which is totally transparent for perfect image placement. They are so easy to use as they cling like crazy to our clear blocks so you don’t have to worry about them falling off.
I fussy cut the bows, stamped in Rose Red/Blushing Bride and Island Indigo/Pool Party, and the two Baby Bears. The Island Indigo vertical strip was embossed using the new Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The patterned paper is from the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack.
