We Must Celebrate Easter Card
Do you ever have to create a card but you didn’t have any of the ingredients you need? Well, that was me for this project. The April Global Stampers challenge was ‘Easter’. In our family Easter is big but I don’t own any Easter stamp sets and only own one stamp set with an Easter sentiment – the fabulous Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set by Stampin’ Up!. This stamp set was about the first one I ever bought and it is still a favourite. I didn’t have any religious Easter sets to create an Easter card. But did have one bunny – super cute though – from the We Must Celebrate stamp set.
Easter Card Details
Card Base Powder Pink C/S: 8-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ (21 cm x 14 cm);
Whole Lot of Lovely DSP layer: 4″ x 5-3/8″ (10 cm x 10.6 cm), adhered onto base with Foam Adhesive Strips;
Whisper White Layer for stamping (underneath windows): 5-1/4″ x 3″ ((13.3 cm x 7 cm)
The stamped image that I used was just the bunny. I used the Stampin’ Write Marker (Basic Black) directly on the stamp to isolate the bunny image. This is a very easy technique.
Smallest oval from the Layering Oval Framelits Dies die cut in Powder Pink;
Smoky Slate C/S layer: 5-1/4″ x 3-7/8″ (13.3. cm x 9.7 cm);
Whisper White layer: 5″ x 3-5/8″ (9.1cm x 12.7cm);
Action mini wobble spring (available from Scrap Dragon in Australia and Amazon in the U.S.):
scrap piece of Whisper White C/S (3″ x 4″) and Powder Pink C/S (6″ x 4″).
