Waterfall technique translates to scrapbooking

As you have already guessed, I am a cardmaker first and scrapbooker second.  This is the reverse of what I used to be – I was once only a scrapbooker.  One of the things that I am really enjoying is being able to use some of my creative cardmaking techniques for scrapbooking – such as stamping, generational stamping, paper piecing, collages, die-cutting and of course, today, the waterfall scrapbook layout.

This layout features the gorgeous Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper (DSP), which is now on sale as part of the DSP sale.  This patterned paper has sweet floral patterns on one side and bold geometric prints on the other, making it so simple to use for scrapbooking layouts.  I was never very good at matching patterned paper and then colour matching cardstock when designing scrapbook layouts.  But this has changed with the ease of using Stampin’ Up!’s DSP.  It is like an outfit story – this goes with this, goes with that…..  I don’t even have to think.
