I think I might have fallen in love with Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper

Is it inappropriate to fall in love with gorgeous products?  I am not sure whether it is but certainly I do have a love affair with this bundle.

For my regular readers you know that I love doing framed samplers – they are usually my first project created when a new catalogue comes out.  For me they are so much fun.  My last year’s samplers, Moroccan Nights  and  Santa’s Sleigh, were super popular.

As soon as I saw the Birthday Memories patterned paper, I knew exactly what I would create with it – the design did change somewhat but that ‘paper tole’ look remained.  Birthday Memories is part of a suite of products, including the Birthday Delivery stamp set (23 stamps), Birthday Friends Framelits Dies, co-ordinating ribbon, cardstock pack and the cutest Balloon Honeycombe embellishments.  I will be posting more details (including a full tutorial) about this project closer to 1 June, the release date of the new Catalogue.

If you are interested in doing a class featuring this project, let me know.  If enough people are interested, I will schedule it as an extra class.

Want to know more about the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper?

The best feature of this suite is that the co-ordinating framelits die cut quite a few of the images from the Designer Series Paper which made this project so much easier.   I die cut two each of the featured images which meant that they matched perfectly when I layered one upon the other.  There are three different levels of dimension on this project – Liquid Multipurpose Glue, Dimensionals and Foam Adhesive Strips.

Hi Julie, thanks for the lovely feedback. Not sure about talent but your words have made me smile. Thank you. Good luck with your demonstratorship.

brilliant sampler. I would like to try something similar except change out one of the “images” for a photo of one of my children on their birthday. Would that be OK. I never copy anything without permission, and if I do have yours, I will give credit back to your brilliant work. Jennifer, Silver demo, canada
