My swap with a Caramello Koala

OnStage Stampin’ Up! is over for another year

Sadly, OnStage is over for another year.  I just remembered that I have yet to post my swaps.  Swaps are an important of OnStage and also are part of the Stampin’ Up! culture.  So why do we do swaps?  It is the opportunity to meet other demonstrators, to share creative ideas with other demonstrators, push outside of our creative comfort zone (if we want to) and to receive projects that you can use in your business and for your displays.

As you probably know if you visit my blog and Facebook Page regularly, I hosted two overseas demonstrators during their stay to attend the global Onstage Live which was in Brisbane this year.  I had so much fun but I was a little time poor in the leadup.  So I wanted a simple project that was easy to create but with a bit of a WOW factor – and of course because this was a global event with visiting demonstrators, it had to have an Australian flavour (excuse the pun), hence the Caramello Koala treat.

And these are just a few of what I received in return.

To create this treat bag I used the diaper fold – there are lots of Youtube videos that show you how to create these types of bags.  They are particularly easy to make, once you know how, especially if you have some Stampin’ Up! Grid Paper.  Then all you have to do is decorate.  This is such a useful project as it is so easy to create, uses a minimum of supplies, has the WOW factor, can be made from any size square piece of double sided Designer Series Paper (patterned Paper), utilises your craft stash and would be great at Easter, Christmas or any celebrations.

Of course I received some fabulous swaps in return, all of which are now on display at my studio workshop.
